Celebrate the changing of the seasons in our glorious South West, where an impressive line-up of wine-led events awaits at Fine Vines. Returning for another year in 2022, local winemakers and producers will take centre stage across a program that invites guests to immerse themselves over two weeks in bold, inventive menus and exceptional wines.

Just a three-hour drive from Perth, Margaret River is home to stretches of unspoilt beaches, world-class wine, remarkable caves and sky-high forests, and sets the perfect scene for Fine Vines Festival. No matter where your South West adventure takes you, Fine Vines has all the makings of a sensational vinous and culinary escape. Heading along? Here are our picks.

Tiller Dining x Rosabrook Long Table Dinner
Take a seat at a long table overlooking the stunning Rosabrook vineyards for a five-course degustation brought to you by George Cooper of Tiller Dining. Farm grown produce from the Tiller farm in Yallingup Siding connects place to glass with thoughtful wine pairings by Rosabrook’s Chief Winemaker, Severine Logan. Immerse yourself on a culinary journey with the freshest spring produce at this one of a kind dining experience.

On the Lawn at Xanadu
Spring party vibes and hawker-style Southeast Asian food stations by newly appointed Head Chef, Aaron Lim, will set the scene for an unforgettable afternoon at Xanadu on 15 October. Round up a group of friends and settle into a low-key and relaxing picnic on the lawn in the picturesque surrounds of one of Margaret River’s most celebrated vineyards. Dive deeper into the soon to be released Vinework range at a masterclass with Xanadu’s 2023 Halliday Wine Companion Winemaker of the Year, Glenn Goodall, a fantastic opportunity to be one of the first to taste this exciting new release.

Cape Lodge x Gralyn Estate
Mark your diaries for the ultimate escape at culinary destination Cape Lodge on 21 October for a rare vinous evening, offering an exclusive peek into the intriguing world of one of the most prestigious wine producers in the country, as the iconic lakeside dining room is set to welcome longstanding Caves Road neighbour, Gralyn Estate.Settle in for an intimate journey through four courses, designed by newly appointed head chef Adam Robson Chew, paired with some of the prestigious winery’s most highly sought-after releases.

6.00pm – 10.00pm, tickets $290

 

Different Drops
On Saturday 22 October, enjoy farm-to-plate canapés prepared by Margaret River Tuck Shop while sipping on minimal-intervention wine from Walsh & Sons for Different Drops. Celebrate produce from local legends Farm House Meats, and roll into the evening with late-night beats and that iconic WA sunset.

Fine Vines Wine Options Quiz
Nothing brings a team together like a blind wine-tasting quiz. Get amongst the wine experts of WA and put your wine knowledge to the test at the Fine Vines Wine Options Quiz at The River on 19 October. Get a crew together and fire up your senses trying to guess vintages, varieties and countries of origin. Hosted by Andrew Dawson from Yeah Wine, guests will enjoy a delicious snack menu, or have the option to book a table and settle into the full dining menu.

6.00pm – 9.30pm, tickets $330 (table of 6) or $60 each
