16 / Rocky Ridge Ace IPA

For a bold style, and an energetic brewery, Ace is a quiet hero. Loyal, purposeful. Indeed, there should be more hype here, but instead this West Coast IPA stoically watches the passing one-weekend-wonders, awaiting the return of sensibility, albeit with the kind of abv that makes friends easily. True to style, pine leads, passionfruit, lychee and mango twist tropical, while firm bitterness stipples. All balanced, taunt and, well, ace!
