An unusual approach pays off – grenache grapes produced an almost clear result, which were then stained with a little cabernet franc. The result is a chewy, savoury style with dried orange, bergamot, dried herb and a lick of watermelon. The texture is powdery and firm with good length and intensity. All up? Very darn good.
