No surprises that chenin blanc ranked so highly in this tasting: a raft of WA producers are excelling with mineral-charged, refreshing, bone-dry styles. This, however, is next level, with high-toned floral and saline whiffs, oyster-shell and white-balsamic lift, sprigs of alpine herbs and a generous squeeze of lime. Very refreshing, very salty, with nuttiness in tow. A curious and engaging wine with zing, zest and freshness. Huge vibes.
