Describing this Yallingup favourite in one word – chilled.
Refreshingly, there’s not much in the way of hype here, just a quiet vibe of going about the business of doing good things. A minimalist core range leaves space for limited releases available at the brewery and for growler fills. Not far from Yallingup and Dunsborough, the family friendly operation, with its wide open spaces, gets busy in peak season so booking is advised. A Zesti wood-fired oven is doing the heavy lifting here – perhaps the MVP for this brewery kitchen. You might scour their website for a menu, but you won’t find it. It’s not that they’re a secretive bunch, more that it can, on occasion, change daily as they’re committed to using local suppliers and they ebb and flow with that. Ask a regular however, and they’ll steer you to the most reliable menu items – the hefty pork knuckle with sauerkraut or the wood-fired chicken. This is a whole bird brined for 48 hours and, as you’d expect, it’s popular – so much so that if you want to nab one, it’s best to preorder when you book.
