This is good times on an industrial scale.

If there’s one thing that the Three Pound Group excel at, it’s large venues designed to tick many, many boxes. Something for everyone can be code for stretching yourself too thin but The White Horse, which opened in late 2025, has seen the Baldivis community take to it like bees to honey. A quality fitout is a given with this big pub player but what’s immediately impressive is a well-designed space that’s licenced for over 1000 punters across two storeys, three bars, a mezzanine deck and alfresco area. Managing quality on this scale is no mean feat, yet service is natural and friendly, ordering at the bar is seamless and food is on the table before you can second guess whether you should have added a round of garlic bread. It’s pub classics done well – chicken parmi, steak sangas – and some big-ticket items like full racks of pork ribs or rotisserie porchetta. Taps might err to the more corporate end of the drinks landscape but there is still room for the likes of Margaret River Brewing Co and Cheeky Monkey. The wine lists a good balance of styles, with something for fans of traditional wines as well as those who love a chilled red from a more unique label such as LS Merchants.
