A part of the wider Hillarys Beach Club, the brief here is ‘contemporary twist on the classic English pub experience’. Considering the number of Brits in this northern corridor, it’s perhaps a high bar to set. See, though, the popular all-day Sunday roast complete with Yorkshire pudding, house-made gravy and, of course, roast potatoes. You’ll find classic comfort in fish pie, scotch egg with piccalilli and ubiquitous fish and chips. It has to be said that the menu goes wider with pizza, pasta and even a Japanese section which might feel out of place until you consider that a contemporary British pub will often draw on a broad culinary canvas. With Indian Ocean views and a G&T to hand, any homesickness for the motherland may well be banished.
