In recent years, this South West brewer with a knack for brewing both sessionable and more avant-garde beers has made in-roads to the city both here at Duncraig and in Burswood. With over 40 beers on tap, it can only be to the advantage of Perth drinkers. In fact, it’s possibly the best place to take a novice to attune their beer palate. Looking at the list, you get an idea of how prolific this team is and if you’re the type of person who likes to plan ahead, their updated taplist can be found online. You could be somewhat overwhelmed with the choice but staff are happy, engaged and always willing to give you a little taster before settling. Conviviality is at play with the food side of things, as it’s centred around sharing. It’s very much brewery kitchen fare but the standout dish has to be the beer-brined roasted chicken with a few of the vegetarian options as sides, like maple-roasted carrots or broccolini pangrattato.
