Waterside brewpub where you can pull up the boat, unload the family, and get a taste of West Coast life.
Think of Mandurah, and being on or by the water is probably what comes to mind, maybe followed by, ‘where can I get a beer?’ Boundary Island Brewery would be the answer for most, this family-owned brewpub turning heads in the east as well as the west, their brews taking home multiple gold medals in successive years at the Australian International Beer Awards in Melbourne (the largest annual beer competition in the world in case you were wondering). Their strong core range is backed up by seasonal offerings for those who like to mix it up beyond a pint of the usual. Food is very much a surf-and-turf deal, from fresh oysters, blue swimmer crab linguine and chargrilled Two Rock occy, to smash burgers and steak, whether in sanga form or on the plate with sides. The pizza oven does good business and if you didn’t get you were in solid family territory, meet Esmerelda, a crayfishing boat getting a second life in the kids playground.
