In a city that doesn’t lack Italian, it takes a chef like Paolo del Monte to remind you what Italy really tastes like. Having worked in four and five-star hotels and Michelin-starred kitchens, Print Hall’s executive chef isn’t interested in clichés. Instead, his plates champion the soul of regional Italian cooking—and for one night only, he’s showcasing the heart of Tuscany.

On Saturday 31 May, Print Hall’s intimate underground wine bar, Small Print, will host Bello Tignanello — a celebration of the legendary Antinori family and their iconic Tignanello Toscana IGT Supertuscan 2020.

Tignanello is a Supertuscan that needs no introduction for those in the know—a sangiovese-cabernet blend that redefined Italian winemaking. It’s famously rare. So rare, in fact, that most venues are lucky to receive just six bottles a year. But Print Hall has secured an expanded allocation, creating a rare opportunity to celebrate the drop itself.

Alongside the exclusive Tignanello, the Print Hall family will also be pouring an unlimited selection of other exceptional Antinori wines, including the Bianco Toscana IGT 2023, Chianti Classico Riserva DOCG 2021, and Montenisa Franciacorta DOCG.

Pairing with these wines is a four-course feast rooted in Tuscany’s rustic, robust flavours. It opens with antipasto toscano, then moves to delicate tortelli filled with Tuscan ricotta, bathed in a ragù made from prized Chianina beef — the same white cattle used in bistecca alla Fiorentina.

As the Tignanello is poured, the grigliata toscana arrives—think charcoal-grilled sirloin tagliata with porcini, pork ribs, lamb racks—flanked by roast potatoes and Mediterranean grilled vegetables. And to finish? Dolcetti toscani with cantucci and a splash of Antinori’s Vin Santo del Chianti Classico DOCG.

Like all great Italian feasts, the event is underpinned by Print Hall’s take on true Italian hospitality—endless wine, water and bread—creating that unmistakable feeling of being well looked after. After all, what’s a Tuscan dinner without a table that never empties?

This is set to be anything but your average wine dinner. For lovers of fine wine, regional Italian cooking, and the stories behind both—this is one not to miss.
