Besk 2025 Winner
On opening back in 2019, Besk co-owners – architect Ben Braham and Elliot Moore of Mane Liquor – set out the clear vision: Besk was not to be a bar with a narrow approach to both product and clientele but a neighbourhood pub with community and quality at its core. Their mission has been realised, with the creation of a perfectly balanced, modern iteration of a pub. It’s unpretentious and inclusive while fuelling discovery of the producers they champion over the bar and in the attached bottleshop. Food has solid pub DNA and the locals clearly love this place as their own.
