It’s been a hell of a time to be in the hotel business. But rather than flounder, Rob Weeden, General Manager at the Pan Pacific, made it his mission to keep pushing. Whether it was housing the homeless at the onset of the pandemic, feeding them with Bobby’s BBQ Truck, signing Alejandro Saravia as chef for Uma, launching the city’s first vegan fine-diner in Ten Acre Block, or setting and achieving targets for inclusion and diversity, Weeden has been at the front of the pack. An example for those both in, and outside of, the industry.
