Drew Dawson 2025 Winner
It’s been quite the journey for Drew Dawson, from the streets of East London and time with his father in the rolling hills of Cossignano in the Marche region of Italy to a stint in the British Army, moving to Australia, and going through a possibly career-ending car accident. Both because of and despite the challenges he has faced, Dawson has carved a name for himself in recent years. He dedicated himself to the kitchen at Peggy’s in Fremantle under Harry Peasnell, before moving on to help launch Lola’s, and most recently is on the pans at Nieuw Ruin. With his Off Licence pop-up, he’s created an anticipated concept that is perhaps a taste of his bright future.
