Otherside Brewing Co, Anthem IPA 2021 Winner
All major-key energy, Anthem is gloriously in tune, and on time. An IPA for everyday, with generosity well above its station. Not only is it a well-designed and executed celebration of the brew team’s ongoing refinement of their core range, Anthem is a joy to drink. An inviting misted gold hue crests with a fine, lasting white head – a visual opener for a chorus of Australian Galaxy and US Simcoe hops. Citrus, passionfruit and pine feature through a juicy mid-palate, its swell is a subtle blend of hazier profiles keeping things relevant and vital. A lean malt profile and tight bitterness are highlights, with the dry coda maximising drinkability, and bringing it all together. There’s not a drop out of place – Anthem sings.
