Terms and conditions of entry to WA Good Food Guide’s Taste Great Southern 2025 Instagram Competition
- Instructions on how to enter and prize information form part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in the competition is deemed as acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
- The promoter is West Australian Good Food Guide Awards Unit Trust.
ABN: 45263 963 888 - Entry is open to residents of Australia aged eighteen years or over only. Persons under the age of 18 years are not considered adults and therefore are not able to enter. If a winner is discovered to be under 18, they will automatically be disqualified.
- Employees (and their immediate family and/or those living in the same household) of the Promoter, and its related entities, affiliates, subsidiaries, agencies and suppliers associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or first cousin.
- The WAGFG Taste Great Southern 2025 Competition commences at 5pm on 27 March 2025 and closes at 11.59pm on 9 April 2025. (“Promotional Period”).
- To enter, entrants must follow the instructions in the competition post on the WAGFG Instagram account.
- There is no cost to enter the Promotion.
- The Promoter reserves the right to refuse any entries which contravene these Terms and Conditions, including any incomplete or indecipherable entries.
- The selection of the winner will take place in Perth at 2pm on 10 April 2025.
- The promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
- Only the winners will be notified via direct message from WA Good Food Guide on Instagram. If a winner does not respond within 48 hours, they forfeit the prize, and an alternate winner will be selected. An alternate winner will be randomly selected from the remaining eligible entrants.
- The Promoter will have no liability for a winner’s failure to receive notices due to the winner’s requests folder or other security settings or for a winner’s provision of incorrect or otherwise non-functioning contact information.
- The prizes are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash. No responsibility is accepted for any variation in the value of the prizes.
- All competition entrants must reside in Australia. Winners entering from outside Australia will be disqualified.
- The Promoter reserves the right to, at any time, verify the validity of entries and entrant details (e.g. entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) and disqualify an individual who the Promoter has reason to believe has breached any of these Terms and Conditions, tampered with the entry process or engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise the fair and proper conduct of the promotion. Errors and omissions may be accepted at the Promoter’s discretion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
- All entries in the competition become the property of the Promoter. The Promoter collects personal information from entrants to conduct the competition and may, in the course of business, disclose the personal information to third parties, as required. Entry in this competition is conditional on the provision of the personal information requested.
- By entering, entrants agree to follow WA Good Food Guide and Taste Great Southern on Instagram. Entrants can unfollow at any time.
- In the event of war, terrorism, pandemic or epidemic, state of emergency, government restrictions or disaster, the Promoter reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion, or suspend or modify a prize. The Promoter reserves the right to modify, suspend or terminate the Promotion without notice.
- The Promoter is not liable for any loss (including loss of opportunity) or damage (including, but not limited to, direct, indirect or consequential loss) or personal injury in relation to this competition or the use of, or participation in, the prize.
- These Terms and Conditions will bind this and any future entry by you into a competition through a WAGFG media channel site and may be updated from time to time.
- The first prize winner will receive two tickets to Tides of Taste. The winner can select to attend the event on 2nd or 3rd May, provided neither event is sold out. The total prize value is $370.
- The second prize winner will be provided with two tickets to Denmark Wine Hop, an event taking place on 3rd May 2025 in the Great Southern region of Western Australia. The total prize value is $220.
- The total value of the prizes is $590
- All Prize redemptions are also subject to any terms and conditions imposed by the supplier (Taste Great Southern).
- Any additional costs above the value of the prize, such as travel to the region and accommodation, are the sole responsibility of the winner.
- The winner is solely responsible for determining who to share the Prize with.
- Travel arrangements to and from the venues are the responsibility of the winner.
- It is the responsibility of the winner to alert the supplier to any allergies and/or medical conditions.
